Hi Andy, I removed /lib/firmware/iwlwifi-bz-b0-hr-* files that were installed manually. Then I installed linux-firmware/noble-proposed as described in the article linked above. I verified that the new (compressed) files /lib/firmware/iwlwifi-bz-b0-hr-* appeared. After the reboot everything seems to be working as it did before.
The only thing I noticed is that linux-firmware package was unexpectedly large, 500+ Mb but maybe that's OK for this particular package. Other than that linux-firmware/noble-proposed LGTM. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2102029 Title: Ubuntu 24.04.2 Wrong network card detected and firmware missing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-firmware/+bug/2102029/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
