Great progress! I can see all your crashes are the same issue: gnome-shell[2835]: Received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)'. (Details: serial 327 error_code 3 request_code 2 (core protocol) minor_code 0) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the MUTTER_SYNC environment variable to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the mtk_x_error() function.)
Please add MUTTER_SYNC=1 to /etc/environment and reboot. Then we will wait for more crashes to confirm the origin of the error. Although using Wayland instead of Xorg should also avoid it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2117487 Title: Xorg crash after few seconds on AMD strix Point laptop - 24.04.2 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/2117487/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
