My tests are supporting this conclusion: lftp [email protected]:/HARTMAFK.191> cd /GPLSRV2:HARTMAFK.CODE cd ok, cwd=/GPLSRV2:HARTMAFK.CODE
It works if I CD with a "fake" absolute path. And it happily blows up on an empty cd as well: lftp [email protected]:/> cd *** buffer overflow detected ***: terminated Aborted The concept of absolute paths doesn't really make a lot of sense in the context of z/OS and z/VM, leading to this issue. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2091440 Title: [UBUNTU 24.10] lftp: buffer overflow detected when accessing z/VM FTP server and changing the directory To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-z-systems/+bug/2091440/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
