It sounds like you're dealing with two separate issues — the HDMI/DP
audio crackling on Linux and a language/autodub issue when streaming via
Chromecast. For the Linux audio issue, you're not doing anything wrong;
it's a known regression in kernel 6.8.0-50-generic due to conditional
snooping being enabled in the amdgpu driver, which has now been reverted
upstream for breaking hardware compatibility. If you're using Chromecast
and can’t access audio or language settings, that’s a Chromecast
limitation — not an Android or app setting. For a smoother experience
without such issues, I’d recommend trying the Sportzfy app — a free
