Public bug reported:

I use gnome-session-flashback with ubuntu 24.

My gnome-session-flashback version is:

1:3.52.1-2ubuntu1.1

I have to write in spanish.

In spanish we use accent marks in vowels.

For example:

canción

ó is a letter "o" with an accent marks (tilde)

When I use accent marks in libreoffice or gnome text editor:

1.

I press the accent mark key in the keyboard

2.

The accent mark appears on the screen

3.
I press a letter, for example "o"

4.

The letter "o" with accent mark appears on the screen (ó)

But a second accent mark appears on the screen...

This is not correct.

I consider this is a bug.

I need to press enter key on keyboard or press backspace to get rid of this
second accent mark

This behaivor does not occurr with firefox or google chrome

This behaivor occurs when I use accent marks in libreoffice or gnome
text editor

If I use Ubuntu 24 default desktop environment this behaivor does not
occur

I attach a video showing the case:
