It seems there was no response to comment #1 which asked for a package
to be assigned. If the problem affected booting from specific version of
the kernel then the 'linux' package should have been selected as the
affected package.
Almost 13 years later I'm closing this as 'Invalid' as there have been
far too many changes in Ubuntu for this bug report to be of any use in
2025.
