Public bug reported:
1.) The release of ubuntu:
Description: Ubuntu 25.04
Release: 25.04
2) The version of the package:
liblapack-doc:
Installed: 3.12.1-2
Candidate: 3.12.1-2
Version table:
*** 3.12.1-2 500
500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu plucky/main amd64 Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
3.) After installing the package liblapack-doc I expected the manual pages for
LAPACK library functions (or subroutines) to be available. For example, in
ubuntu 22.04 (after installing the package) the command
man dsyev
opens the manual page describing the subroutine dsyev and the related ones.
4.) In ubuntu 25.04 I get the message
"No manual entry for dsyev"
(despite of having installed the package).
