The sudo binary has lost the suid bit:

$ ls -lL /usr/bin/sudo
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 1116808 Aug 11 11:25 /usr/bin/sudo

So it doesn't work:

"sudo-rs: sudo must be owned by uid 0 and have the setuid bit set"
