Public bug reported:
The rsyslog main package and various rsyslog-* packages provide various
input and output modules that the upstream rsyslog project provides.
However, the omhttp (HTTP output module) is not packaged. This module
can be useful for pushing logs to various monitoring or analysis tools.
Ubuntu release: 24.04.3 LTS (though searching for rsyslog on
packages.ubuntu.com and looking at the list of files, it seems it hasn't
been fixed as of Ubuntu plucky)
rsyslog version: 8.2312.0-3ubuntu9.1
What you expected to happen:
A configuration directive like
module(load="omhttp")
would work. Currently it prints out an error that it cannot find the
omhttp.so module.
** Affects: rsyslog (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
