Public bug reported:

Autopkgtests started failing on questing with a ton of "old C" warnings,
then the following error:

160s mkbuiltins.c:267:29: error: too many arguments to function 'xmalloc';
expected 0, have 1
160s   267 |           error_directory = xmalloc (2 + strlen (argv[arg_index]));
160s       |                             ^~~~~~~  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
160s mkbuiltins.c:62:14: note: declared here
160s    62 | static char *xmalloc (), *xrealloc ();

That smells like a gcc 15 thing.
