Something's gone wrong here. The problem got worse in version
24.004.60+git20250714.287ae4de-0ubuntu3

I've tested both Intel graphics and Nvidia so far. Instead of
transitioning from the BIOS to Plymouth, the display just turns off and
stays off till the end of the boot splash at which point it's frozen and
then suddenly vanishes.
