Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: miro
Opening Miro 1.1 (r5991) in Kubuntu Gutsy on my system disables the
screensaver/DPMS in KDE. Even if you close the application the
screensaver/DPMS will not kick in at all unless the X server is
restarted, then all is well again.
Using NVIDIA GeForce 6100 and driver from linux-restricted-modules
(nvidia). I have entries for DPMS in xorg.conf
Section "ServerFlags"
Option "DPMS" "yes"
Option "BlankTime" "10"
Option "StandbyTime" "15"
Option "SuspendTime" "18"
Option "OffTime" "20"
EndSection
as well as settings in kcontrol to power save.
** Affects: miro (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
