I didn't experience any flickering with multiple instances of OpenOffice 1:2.3.0-1ubuntu5.3 with CompizFusion in Gutsy. I tried running 2 instances of the word processor or one instance of the word processor and one of the spreadsheet. I also tried to maximize all the windows or resize them and I still couldn't get any flickering. Can you give a procedure to reproduce the flickering ?
