with this new firmware package, I tested it multiple times as follows: OK :) worked KO :( failed to power-off
- 2 attempts to power-off, from GDM, before logging in: OK :) - 2 attempts from Gnome session: KO :( - 2 attempts to logout from Gnome and power-off from GDM: KO :( - 2 attempts to logout, access from a terminal, kill the process mpris-proxy (belongs to package bluez): OK :) I haven't done this same test with the previous firmware package. If I try to remove bluez, it has only one dependency: gnome-bluetooth-sendto p.s.: I'll be trying again and again. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2115860 Title: poweroff not working after upgrading linux-firmware To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2115860/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
