Public bug reported:
In 25.04 and now in 25.10 beta, the print dialog in Papers takes about 30
seconds to appear after pressing Ctrl+P. During this time, it is also not
possible to quit the app: a dialog appears proposing to "Close after printing",
"Cancel" or "Abort Print and Close"; choosing "Abort Print and Close" does not
close the app.
On the same machine, the print dialog in Evince works fine, opening the same
PDF file. The print dialog appears immediately upon pressing Ctrl+P.
Here is the output of Papers when running it from a terminal:

The Gtk-WARNING line appears upon pressing Ctrl+P. Nothing else appears when
the dialog finally opens.
