Public bug reported:

I think I have discovered a bug on Ubuntu LTS 24.04 in re: to fractional
scaling:

Given the user navigates to Settings > Displays
    And Enables Fractional Scaling
When the user changes scaling to 125%
    And accepts the changes
Then the user can toggle off fractional scaling
    And accepts the changes again
And the screen will cut off about 20% of the screen

Expected: The resolution to default back to 100% and full screen of my laptop
ACTUAL: The resolution of the screen was around 80~% cutting on the right side
and bottom of the display.

** Affects: gnome-settings-daemon (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
