Public bug reported:

Simplify packaging by dropping linux-modules-extra-*.

This has the added benefit of making it easier to install older kernels
that aren't tracked by the latest available metapackage. For instance,
the linux-nvidia-6.14 currently installs the 6.14.0-1008-nvidia kernel,
and it does a nice job of installing all of the necessary pieces.
However, if a user tries to install a 6.14.0-1007-nvidia kernel, they
won't be able to rely on a metapackage -- this makes it very easy for
them to miss the linux-modules-extra-$(uname -r) package.
