Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager
On kernel's using the new iwl driver instead of the older ipw3945 driver, my ipw3945 is only useable in networkmanager if the wireless switch had wireless on during boot. If its turned on later, networkmanager won't find it. This was not the case with the older drivers. This may be an udev issue because the wlan0_rename device is sticking around. ** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- ipw3945 only detected when active at boot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/182850 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
