The kernel currently in questing is the plucky GA kernel (6.14.0-1005.5). Similarly for linux-firmware-raspi, the current version in questing is identical to what's in noble/plucky (12-0ubuntu1). The wpasupplicant package has been upgraded from 2.10 to 2.11 in questing, so if I had to guess I'd say it might either be problem with wpasupplicant or a problematic interaction between something that changed in wpasupplicant and (buggy) behavior in the kernel/firmware.
