Public bug reported:

Thank you for taking the time to read this bug report.

My new Lenovo Yoga has a touchscreen (device ID ELAN9048) that worked when
booting in the factory install of windows11.
Now, under Ubuntu 24.04 it is not recognized by the system.

After some troubleshooting and digging through forums I have been able
to locate the device ID via acpidump: (among other entries) "6F290: 54
50 4C 54 0A 03 70 0D 45 4C 41 4E 39 30 34 38 TPLT..p.ELAN9048"

I do not know what to do, or whether this is a misconfiguration on my
side, but I believe it is not.

Some other information:

lsb_release -rd
No LSB modules are available.
Description: Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS
Release: 24.04

uname -r
6.14.0-29-generic
(I tried booting with different Kernels via the grub menu)

Thank you for taking your time, I hope this can be fixed soon. Have a good day!
