You shouldn't be using 535.230 as 535.247 has since been released in
standard Ubuntu repos.

sudo apt purge *535*
sudo dkms remove nvidia/535.230.02 --all       #just to be sure

sudo apt clean && sudo apt update

Now look at: 
apt-cache policy

It should show 535.247.01 as being the available version. And then you can 
install it as normal.
Actually, is there a reason you're still using 535? Now might be a good time to 
install nvidia-driver-570-open instead.
