"error: Unable to lock: Lock was blocked by an app" was definitely
caused by a VM I had open for a while and is unrelated. I'm pretty sure
it is the minute changing because I don't know what else would be
causing it to wake up exactly when the minute changes every time the
minute changes.

How do I delete a shell extension permanently?
