This looks like a plain crash in mesa, no?
gnome-control-center-print-renderer itself is a pretty bare-bones helper
binary, although it is run with a very minimal set of environment
variables.
errors.ubuntu.com points to
#0 0x000076a580354f62 in loader_get_user_preferred_fd
(fd_render_gpu=fd_render_gpu@entry=0x5c0a5457c9c0,
original_fd=original_fd@entry=0x5c0a5457c9c4) at ../src/loader/loader.c:553
but I'm not sure which version of mesa to match line
src/loader/loader.c:553 with.
It's also a low priority because gnome-control-center-print-renderer
crashing only results in gnome-control-center being unable to display
the GPU names, unless this turns out to affect more OpenGL programs.
** Also affects: mesa (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
** Changed in: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided => Low
