This system is running perfectly fine with Ubuntu versions for 12+ years and it compiles embedded kernels, the Linux kernel and runs Kicad without any user experience problems. 16GB DDR, 1TB 3D SSD and I don't experience any much difference with a 2 YO notebook with PCI-e 4.0 M2 drives fast CPU'sD's etc other than I it can't play 4K video and run W11 (due to the missing TPM) and an older PCI graphics card. The hype of needing high speed CPU's and lots of DDR and GPU's is absolutely overblown (in my opinion) to run a perfect (Linux) system.
Thanks for trying to reproduce this. Perhaps other users may encounter this. a few weeks ago updated Ubuntu 25.04 using the normal way (software update). I have reported other issues with Nautilus but if the version is what other users use, I wonder why my experience is so unique. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2122093 Title: Moving files does not update folder view (Ubuntu 25.04, Ext4 partition) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/2122093/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
