Hi Chris, Thanks for the review and thinking about what could go wrong as this part is difficult for me.
I will attach 2 screenshots for you to look at. 1. Is a diff between the old failure and the one with the patch applied. You can see that the old one has this long error W: oscap: Can't receive message: 103, Software caused connection abort. E: probe_file: Invalid value of the `recurse_direction' attribute: -1 Result error .... and the new one just shows a warning instead of an error. W: oscap: Obtrusive data from probe! Result Fail 2. While the test is running - have htop running in the background and you can see it consume 100% of the CPU. ** Attachment added: "output-diff.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openscap/+bug/2116751/+attachment/5909505/+files/output-diff.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2116751 Title: openscap probe_file process consumes excessive resources during CIS scan To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openscap/+bug/2116751/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
