wpa_supplicant 2.11 has a bug that seems to break the authentication
handshake on brcmfmac WiFi chips.

In fedora this was fixed by reverting the offending commit

The same fixes the issue on my Macbook m2 Air. The other patches discussed in 
the RH bug tracker don't work for me.
