Public bug reported:
Hi
In one of our Single board computers booting of Ubunutu 24.04.3/ 24.04.1
desktop and server distributions causes an additional delay in boot time by
about 1m 20 sec compared to RHEL 10.
This issue is narrowed down to the TPM measured boot activity using BIOS debug
logs.
The computer has a discrete TPM chip.
When TPM is disabled in BIOS setup options (Advanced->Trusted
Computing->Security Device Support->[Disable]) the additional 1m 20s issue is
not seen in Ubuntu also.
This issue does not occur in our other Intel chipset computers eg., Raptor lake
chipset using Ubuntu 24.04.3/ 24.04.1.
Expecting to boot the computer without the additional 1m 20s boot time.
Kindly address this bug.
