Public bug reported:

As part of bug #2080322 ("
[SRU] Disable CONFIG_TCG_TPM2_HMAC to avoid performance loss after v6.10"), the
CONFIG_TCG_TPM2_HMAC was disable as a workaround for a performance regression
during boot.

To the best of my knowledge, this regression has long been fixed
upstream. Could the feature be reenabled, please, as it brings real
benefits to TPM2 security?

** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
