Hi Daniel, Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Until the moment I started getting this error, I had been using Ubuntu with external displays via the USB-C port, and it was working correctly for months.
I messed around with some nVidia drivers to install some CUDA tools, and then I have been getting this issue. I understand the BIOS is out-of-date, but I recently uninstalled Windows, so it may not be the easiest thing for me to upgrade the BIOS. Though as I mentioned things have been working fine on this version on Windows (when I was using Windows) and on Ubuntu previously, so I don't think it is a BIOS problem, most likely I may have uninstalled some driver while setting up CUDA toolkits? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2120239 Title: External monitor not detected on HP Spectre x360 (Intel UHD + NVIDIA GTX 1650 Ti) in any PRIME mode on Ubuntu 24.04.3 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-hwe-6.14/+bug/2120239/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
