I run Ubuntu 25.10 Beta, I have same issue with previous versions of Ubuntu
(see bug #2104936). It is still the same laptop (Lenovo) Medion Erazer E30e
(shipped with a Nvidia Geforce RTX 2050).
Now (with Kernel 6.17.0) the screen does not freeze, but shows non ending
countdown.
