Public bug reported:

This first-generation Framework laptop suspended just fine for years,
and all of a sudden it fails randomly: sometimes it suspends, sometimes
it doesn't, and gets very hot inside its protective sleeve.

The dmesg log lists an ACPI error, and hence this bug report:

If there's any workaround I'd love to hear about it.
