I don't know if people get hit with that bug on every kernel update or if it's a one-time thing. You definitely want to use Nvidia driver if you use the Nvidia GPU to game.
You can always use the dkms package instead of the pre-built modules: sudo apt install nvidia-driver-580 nvidia-dkms-580 With dkms modules, you do need to sign it once for use with SecureBoot (most systems use SecureBoot unless you disable it in BIOS/EFI): https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UEFI/SecureBoot#How_can_I_do_non-automated_signing_of_drivers.3F Nvidia package will run kmodsign automatically. You don't need to worry about that part. If you are on a screen with an <Ok> button and you cannot click it, press the tab key to access the <Ok> button. ** Changed in: linux-hwe-6.14 (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2125516 Title: With the new Kernel my WiFi Card and HDMI is not recognized anymore.
