Hrm, if anyone is still experiencing these freezes in a reproducible
manner, please enable debug logging and reproduce the problem,
$ wpctl set-log-level D ; wpctl set-log-level 0 4
# ... reproduce problem ...
$ wpctl set-log-level - ; wpctl set-log-level 0 -
Then attach
journalctl -b
to this ticket.
It would also be interesting to see what old files people had in
/etc/pipewire that cause the issue. Perhaps we should have some kind of
post hook to remove that stuff. You may also fix things like this after
upgrades by removing ~/.local/state/wireplumber and restarting
wireplumber,
$ rm -rf ~/.local/state/wireplumber
$ systemctl --user restart wireplumber
** Changed in: wireplumber (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Incomplete
** Changed in: pipewire (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Incomplete
