4. Update to Snapd revision 2.72 beta (25577 on x86-64): snap refresh snapd 
--revision=25577
   (this will update all the .desktop files for the snaps)
5. Wait a second or so. The unpinned icons of running snaps will disappear.

Regarding this, not sure if that's the same bug that removing "env ..."
from generated desktop fiels triggered:

 - The desktop files to be valid must point to an *existing* binary, otherwise 
the shell will discard them
 - This can be easily tested for snaps by doing:
   gjs -c 
"print(imports.gi.GioUnix.DesktopAppInfo.new('firefox_firefox.desktop') ?? 
'INVALID')"

Changing the desktop IDs... Now if the desktop files gets re-generated
in between, we need to be sure that the applications gets re-associated
to them, and the shell uses the AA security attribute for this.
