Ok. Let me clarify. The steps I suggest are safe in that you can easily
go back to your previously working kernel (6.8.0-63 in this case) as
long as you don't delete any kernel packages with that version. The
process of switching the kernel back is the same when linux-generic-
hwe-24.04 (6.14.0-33) is active.

1) Can you run "sudo apport-collect 2124226" while 6.8.0-63 is running?

2) Can you try our latest release (6.8.0-85) and let us know if it fixes
this issue? The following commands should do that;

sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade

3) If not, can you try our hwe kernel (6.14.0-33.33)? And let us know if
this fixes the issue?

sudo apt install linux-generic-hwe-24.04
# To activate 6.14 kernel (if not activated automatically upon reboot), you 
will need to update-grub as you are doing to switch back to 6.8.0-63 kernel.
