I talked to Kuba. He said he has not heard of the "nvidia-glx" packages
in over 1.5 years of maintaining the Nvidia drivers, and that his team
tries to ensure that all of the driver transitions are taken care of
with transitional packages at EOL.

Dave also confirmed that none of the listed nvidia-glx packages are even
in Trusty (which is the earliest release in any kind of support)
according to rmadison.

With all this said, this usage of NvidiaDetector should be dead code,
and I believe it should be safe to remove from ubuntu-release-upgrader.
