What I understand is that *this* bug - blank screen on boot - is verified fixed, but there's *another* bug - hang during shutdown - that this does not fix.
Is this a regression introduced in the new firmware? If so, we should back this out until that can be resolved. If this hang during shutdown bug is present on the current firmware, then we can release this as-is and this can be fixed with a follow-up upload. (I'm marking this as regression-proposed to make sure that we don't release without getting this clarified. If this shutdown bug *is* present in the existing linux-firmware, please say so in a comment and remove the regression-proposed tag) ** Tags added: regression-proposed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2121207 Title: AMD Krackan point system hang at black screen while booting up To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/hwe-next/+bug/2121207/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
