I have applied the AppArmor patch version 5.0.0~alpha1-0ubuntu8.1 from the proposed repository and confirmed the primary bug is resolved.
What is Fixed The critical issue where Flatpak installations failed due to a fusermount3 unmounting error is now fixed. Flatpak installation proceeds successfully. What is Not Fixed After applying the patch, I reviewed the system logs. Despite the successful installation of flatpaks, the following issues are noted: The system kernel log (dmesg) still reports AppArmor DENIED messages for the fusermount3 profile, specifically regarding capabilities access (dac_override and setuid). These denials were observed independently after the patch was applied. Attached Files I am attaching the following file for review: dmesg-DENIED-was-run-after-applying-patch.txt: Contains the persistent AppArmor denial messages that require examination. ** Attachment added: "dmesg-DENIED-was-run-after-applying-patch.txt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apparmor/+bug/2122161/+attachment/5917251/+files/dmesg-DENIED-was-run-after-applying-patch.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2122161 Title: [SRU] error: Failed to install org.gnome.Platform: Could not unmount revokefs-fuse filesystem at /var/tmp/flatpak- cache-4EB3B3/org.gnome.Platform-EM6KC3: Child process exited with code 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/flatpak/+bug/2122161/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
