These deps (from -gui to -system*, from -modules to -system* etc) were here for quite some time, but I'm still skeptical about them, and some of them has been dropped due to difficulties fullfilling them.
I think these deps should just be dropped entirely. qemu-system-gui is a helper package, which contains an extension to several other qemu-system-foo packages. There's no reason whatsoever to install qemu-system-gui. Please tell the user to install qemu- system-x86 or whatever qemu variant he wants, and qemu-system-gui will be installed by recommendation, that's all. There's no problem here to discuss or solve. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2127053 Title: qemu-system-any brings in any system emulator with the new solver - should it be qemu-system-native?
