Public bug reported: wslu version 3.2.3-0ubuntu3 on Ubuntu 24.04 is outdated and checks for the wrong file when launching, say, wslview e.g.,
``` grep: /proc/sys/fs/binfmt_misc/WSLInterop: No such file or directory WSL Interopability is disabled. Please enable it before using WSL. grep: /proc/sys/fs/binfmt_misc/WSLInterop: No such file or directory [error] WSL Interoperability is disabled. Please enable it before using WSL. ``` The WSL team changed this to WSLInterop-late in version 4.1.4: https://github.com/wslutilities/wslu/issues/319 You're not even on 4.x. It would be nice to get an update to the distro. ** Affects: wslu (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2127211 Title: wslu is old and doesn't check correct binfmt file To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/wslu/+bug/2127211/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
