This is a duplicate of bug 2117315 For a reason I'm not sure of, some 550 users get stuck on the old package (550.144) when they should be updated to 550.163 (which is needed to build with 6.14 kernel).
I would remove the Nvidia driver, make sure the system and repos are updated, and reinstall the Nvidia driver: sudo apt purge *550* sudo apt update && sudo apt dist-upgrade sudo apt install nvidia-driver-550 nvidia-dkms-550 NOTE: Nvidia 550 looks like it will automatically be transitioned to 580 soon ( bug 2125411 ). You may want to install 580 or 580-open (depends on which Nvidia GPU you have) instead of installing 550. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2127703 Title: nvidia-dkms-550 550.144.03-0ubuntu0.24.04.1: nvidia kernel module failed to build To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-550/+bug/2127703/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
