alas I received this issue myself on dc7700... I erased partition table on dc7700 (prior to starting calamares), then partitioned the system to something I'd be happy with; 26GB for / & rest for /home, ext4 for both & no issues reported during install, but it failed to boot.
I wonder if this is related to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/calamares/+bug/2107555 (ie. duplicate?) I have however made a number of manual partition installs work without issue, however in most of those cases I was NOT creating a new partition table (maybe that makes a HUGE difference) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2124977 Title: Lubuntu manual partitioning installation is unbootable, workaround exists To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/calamares/+bug/2124977/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
