Public bug reported:

Speech-dispatcher has a bug where, when changing the TTS, speech-
dispatcher and Orca stops working when it reloads the TTS. This bug is
fixed in speech-dispatcher version 0.12.1. Please read Samuel Thibault's
comments on this issue: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/orca/-/issues/584
Would it be possible to somehow include this update into Plucky? It
would allow visually impaired users to change TTS settings and avoid
situations where we have to reboot the system without any voice input.
That could make us lose data at the end. I'm not experienced in
packaging, but if it is any help, I can offer testing or any kind of
other help if you need it to fix this issue. (I'm a developer, I just
have no experience with Ubuntu packaging.)Thank you in advance.
