This has been here for ages according to system logs. I can't say for the last working version but it was in the logs since its oldest content and I don't remember when it was. Probably monthes ago, even years maybe. I wouldn't be surprised if that had always been there. After all, 5.15 was released in 2021... It is present in jammy which had 5.15.0-153 as latest version when I created this bug report (5 days ago). Then I made a copy of the system to try an upgrade to noble, and the error was there too. Again, at the time of writing this it had the latest kernel 6.8.0-83. For now the system is still on jammy until migration to noble is made for real. Did you change something with regard to this bug in 5.15.0-156 or 6.8.0-84 that would justify that I check again in such a short timeframe? It's the computer of a friend and I won't have access to it to check in the near future. Would you please still consider looking at this? If I look at the kernel, there hasn't been any change in the file that is mentionned in the error for many months now... So I doubt something would have changed in 5 days.
