Okay, I changed the kernel to a version where the mic doesn't work:
6.14.0-33-generic (maybe 6.8.0-79-generic is no longer availabe?) and ran
sudo apport-collect 2124226 again (at 18:59).

I hope that is good enough.

If you must have apport-collect 2124226 with 6.8.0-79-generic, please tell
me how to get it, how to check whether ih have it.

I think I no longer have it, because this change in /etc/default/grub
- GRUB_DEFAULT="Advanced options for Ubuntu>Ubuntu, with Linux
6.8.0-63-generic"
+ GRUB_DEFAULT="Advanced options for Ubuntu>Ubuntu, with Linux
6.8.0-79-generic"

...did not have the desired effect: uname -r
printed "6.14.0-33-generic"
and not "6.8.0-79-generic" as I expected.

I had to tell the package manager to keep 6.8.0-63-generic.
But I did not keep 6.8.0-79-generic.
If 6.8.0-79-generic indeed no longer exists, is it expected that grub the
latest kerned instead? If yes, how is that reported? I.e. what do I look
for in sudo dmesg?
