Repairing the installation doesn't clear configurations or customizations you might have.
One of the easy way to reproduce on a clean environment would be to boot the desktop installation media and reproduce on the live environement (no need to run the installer). Alternatively, running a new installation in virtual machine would be a way to reproduce the error.
