Public bug reported:
After upgrading to Ubuntu 25.10 (VirtualBox 7.2.2 from Ubuntu
repositories), VirtualBox VMs occasionally abort when the host display
layout changes — for example, when the screen turns off, the laptop
suspends/resumes, or display geometry changes under Wayland.
The VM process (VirtualBoxVM) crashes with signal 11 (segfault) in
libQt6Widgets.so.6.9.2 during a call to QWidget::accessibleName(). The
crash seems to originate from VirtualBox’s GUI thread reacting to a
UIDesktopWidgetWatchdog::sltHandleHostScreenWorkAreaResized() event.
