For anyone else following, I finally got this working on mine. Two things were needed:
1. Create this file (to load the spi_intel_pci driver): $ cat /etc/modules-load.d/spi-intel-pci.conf spi_intel_pci And add this line to /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf: $ tail -n1 /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf options snd-sof-intel-hda-generic hda_model=alc287-yoga9-bass-spk-pin Then restart and that bass kicks in! This is on my Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 14IAH10 running Ubuntu 25.04 (Linux 6.14.0-33-generic). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1926165 Title: Bass speakers not enabled on Lenovo Yoga 9i To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/1926165/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
