I am using virt-manager to run the KVM/QEMU VM of the beta iso of Xubuntu-25.10
Running apt-policy in the Xubuntu 24.04 host shows the following for all
packages that might be needed by you.
~$ apt policy virt-manager
virt-manager:
Installed: 1:4.1.0-3ubuntu0.1
Candidate: 1:4.1.0-3ubuntu0.1
Version table:
*** 1:4.1.0-3ubuntu0.1 500

~$ apt policy qemu-system-gui
qemu-system-gui:
Installed: 1:8.2.2+ds-0ubuntu1.10

I will pass on the output of the
ps faux | grep qemu
when I have reinstalled the VM which is currently removed to save space.
