Public bug reported:

Hello,

On my Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS, an update upped the kernel to 6.14.0-33 and I
couldn't boot anymore.

Symptoms are:
- following message at boot: "ahci 0000.00.0e.0: probe with driver ahci failed
with error -12"
- Boot stops at the Busybox step with the initramsfs promt. When I exit: ALERT!
UUID=.... does not exist. Dropping to shell.

Obviously, something wrong with the ahci storage part of the kernel
because when I go to the advanced boot options and boot the 6.14.0-32,
everything works fine.

Any clue how I could fix this?

Thanks.
